For us, meeting you is the best part of each race! Metzger Outdoors promises to do our very best to give you a quality race, for a great cause. Each day, we scheme; thinking of new ways to improve our races, make them more fun, make them interesting. We want to get people outside and active, find new friends and explore God's creation. Metzger Outdoors takes pride in promoting unique adventure races. Our goal is to create races that will test you mentally and physically; yet at the same time, so much fun that you don't realize that you're exhausted. Races generally involve a combination sporting disciplines including one or more of the following: mountain biking, running, orienteering, canoeing, kayaking, obstacle courses and water activities (use your imagination here). Metzger Outdoors goes to great lengths to include all types of terrain, single track mountain biking, deep woods, swamps, lakes, rivers, running / orienteering on and off road along with plenty of surprises along the way. We are located in Warsaw / Winona Lake. This is in northern Indiana between Fort Wayne and South Bend.

We like to have fun at our races. Expect the unexpected! Generally, the people in our races come from a 50 - 100 mile radius of the Warsaw / Winona Lake area. However, racers have come from surrounding states of Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. We typically host one or two adventure races each year and then may have 5K runs, endurance runs, mountain bike rides and obstacle course races. They are never ordinary...there will always be a twist of some sort. We design most races to accommodate the hard-core racer to those just starting out. Most importantly, we want you to have fun; smile while you are sweating!

At surface level, we are race promoters. We absolutely love hosting races, having fun, getting outside, doing crazy stuff, racing, and interacting with other people. But at the core, we are Christ followers. Our hope is that racers will see Jesus through us and others involved with each race. If you have any questions regarding our faith, please ask!
